Hichibuku Therapy is the traditional medical system of Bujinkan Ninjutsu, as taught by Peter King of The British School of Traditional Japanese Medicine. It employs a variety of techniques, both vigorous and very gentle, to balance the patient at the physical, systemic and energetic levels.
A typical treatment takes between 40 minutes and 1 hour, and can involve the use of acupressure, subtle movement, skeletal adjustment and abdominal massage. These techniques work together to calm the nervous system, align the body and balance the organ systems, thereby expediting and encouraging the patient’s natural capacity for healing. It incorporates aspects of Anma Massage and Cranio-Sacral Work, which are also available as stand-alone treatments.
Hichibuku Therapy is particularly well-suited for working with chronic injuries, digestive disorders and emotional and psychological issues. If you would like to know more about whether Hichibuku Therapy can help you, please feel free to contact me.
